Mexico La Yerba

The small town of La Yerba is located on the north side of the San Juan volcano east of Mexico City. An ejido is a community consisting of common lands designated for agricultural production. Each Ejidatario (co-owner/farmer) has individual rights to a plot or plot of land, these rights can continue indefinitely and be transferred to their children, as long as the land is consistently cultivated. This ideology goes back to the Aztec calpulli system. A medium roast coffee with distinctly sweet notes.
